This five-episode arc is born from real journal entries. Written over decades. And they are not pretty. The first full episode of the five is the story of how it started — the offhand comment from a teacher in eighth grade that taught the monsters in my head that smaller was better. The years of calorie counting and weigh-ins that were already humming in the background before I even knew what an eating disorder was. The slow accumulation of tiny moments that stacked themselves into a belief system I couldn’t shake.
This episode isn’t a blueprint for recovery. It’s a reminder that recovery is possible and that you are not alone. Whether you’re fighting your own inner demons or supporting someone who is, this is the conversation nobody wants to start but everyone needs to hear.

And I try my best to make sure every post is articulate and free from errors. However, being that I edit my own work—and it’s next to impossible to properly edit your own work—I admit, occasionally there may be an error or two I miss. But doing so doesn’t make me an idiot so don’t be mean. Just smile, pat yourself on the back for finding an error and be glad you’re not the only one who makes mistakes sometimes … xoxox
